The Wooly Mammoth of the Jahnplatz Underground
In the Underground station of Bielefeld center, there is a reproduction of a wooly mammoth skeleton in the ground under a grounded glass. Now we are informed: The wooly mammoths were moving around Bielefeld around 20.000 years ago.
Fireflies Watch
Dano shows me and Christine a place were its possible to watch fireflies after sundown
But its not really getting dark. Its fireflie season. We only see a a couple, buts still very nice to be out here. When a frog swallows a firefly and you can still see it hlow from the stomach it would be equivalent to a hunan being devoured by an animal and still swiping on Tinder.

Blue Ball Kunsthalle
I meet Lars and his husband Lorenz Dennis at the Opening of the new Kunsthalle exhibit. Almost four months ago I had one of my first dates with Conor at Lars opening. The new exhibition of Edith Dekyndt "Tell us something that nobody knows" is about the disintegration which happens with the progression of time, damage and reconstruction, with an order ("christallization")and a retracing of the natural world.
In typical contemporary art world fashion there is a performance artist who is in a glass container, eating and spitting out red beets, splatters of beet juice coloring the glass.
I liked the big blue ball the best, that was filled with helium and moved by the AC air and seemed to have developed its own will. Floating through the room.
-Sometimes we find him floating on the first floor even though he is supposed to stay in this area.
-and sometimes he is so lazy that we have to animate him with this stick back there.
Wunstorf
The Regiotrain is stuck right before Hannover. Masses of Scorpio fans, and, much to my demise, me are stranded here at the Wunstorfer train station. The reason was a fire on the tracks of the railway, they are always coming up with new stuff!
Looking at gross old men piss, what a joy!
Too bad that I got soaking wet in the rain, but so lucky that Conor made me a cup of favorite (Darjeeling) tea when I got back!
On the way back from the thrift store “Brockensammlung Bethel” I see an intriguing nose and throat specialist office from outside.
Thank you for reading!
